Middle East: Paucity of Information Technology

Being in the middle east specifically Dubai for the past two years and working as an IT consultant, I have experienced the fact that locals of this zone are not truly competent when it comes to automation, internet and the world wide web. A website is considered to be an artistic representation of their company which according to the mind set of the locals here acts as a painting of their organization. And the count of softwares starts and stops at accounting, I mean that is the only thing they think a software is required for.

It doesnt seem long when I had a Sega Mega Drive and enjoyed playing Sonic the hedgehog and marvel at the graphics. In fact it doesnt seem any longer when nintendo was the only choice of game I had. Technology to me was what Tom Cruise used in Minority Report and I remember talking to the group of people I know about how it is impossible to do such a thing.

Eid: Islam’s festivity

How a hive is to the bee, an Eid congregational prayer is to the Muslims. In Islam Eid is given much importance because of the fact that the whole month of Ramadan before it teaches us(muslims) to abstain from all the indecent acts which exists in the society as well as it forces all the Muslims to experience what a poor(financially) person faces when he remains hungry the whole day.

We as Muslims are given orders by Allah to observe fast for the Holy month of Ramadan and along with that we are informed that Iblees(devil) have been imprisoned for the entire month, we are also ordered to observe Tarawi in congregation in which a whole Para is recited in the manner of Namaz. It is done for all the day(s) of Ramadan and by the end we finish all the thirty para(s).

Starts a new journey officially!

I have been waiting to announce this but due to my wild nature of changing my mind at the last moment, i was making sure if i have made the choice. Finally after months of researchs i have been able to convince myself that i will start to learn to be a computer programmer from today.

Planning, thinking and then developing the future is what is the best practice many say, but do we plan to get a divorce after marrying? Or an accident after buying a new lamborghini? Or losing your best friend? We never plan the mishaps, a human being can only strategize future acording to his/her wish but the fact of the matter is that no matter how hard you try or plan the unforeseen will happen.

It was 3:00 in the morning, everywhere outside the window was dark, I was unable to spot even the tree just outside the window of this room. It was dark, except for the room I was in, I barely recognized it but with a bit of concentration I was able to recall this as the room where I saw Obama taking the oath for America…….and also Bush…..wait I also saw Clinton doing the same in this very room. “Where am I?” I asked myself, just when all of this was interrupted and I deemed this as my very own room, forget Clinton I even saw the last episode of Oprah just rite here. So why all the confusion……. I was stuck, stuck with what we in this planet call a business plan.
